{March 25, 2008}   Lorazepam

Yesterday, when I was really anxious, I took a lorazepam, and all was right with the world.  How sad is that?

James says:

Not sad at all in my opinion! My panic attacks started almost 5 years ago and have been a constant struggle since. I have taken various anti-depressants to help but realized that Klonopin was the only thing that make a truly anxious day better.

I hate “relying” on this on occasion but I figure that I’m taking it for a good cause…my sanity :)

Hi,

On a totally off note, it’s an interesting coincidence to me that it looks like your last blog entry is in April 2008, which is when I had my son, was diagnosed with Postpartum depression with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and anxiety, and was started on Lexapro and Abilify. Now I’m on Zoloft.

You can write me if you want; there aren’t too many people out there who understand about this sort of thing.

PPD was my first major experience that I needed medication for, but I’ve had trouble with OCD my whole life and with depression and social anxiety disorder for most of it.
